Kim Jae-joong, a member of the popular K-pop boy band JYJ, will hold a solo concert at a Japanese stadium next month, his management agency said Wednesday.
The concert set to be held at the 60,000-seat Yokohama Stadium in Yokohama, Japan, on Nov. 15-16 is part of his Asian tour concert to mark the upcoming release of his first solo full-length album, C-Jes Entertainment said.
Kim is set to start the tour with a Seoul concert on Nov. 2-3.
“Kim enjoys huge popularity in Japan,” the company said. “We decided to hold the concert at a large-size performance hall as his Japanese fans have shown great interest at the news of the release of the first album.”
The 27-year-old singer last released a solo mini-album titled “MINE” in January and sold more than 200,000 copies. The new album is due in late October.
He previously put on a solo concert for a sold-out audience in Yokohama in June.

Meeting with new fans, JYJ’s Kim Junsu successfully wrapped up his concert in Australia.
C-JeS Entertainment stated, “On September 28, Kim Junsu met with fans in Australia for his first exclusive concert.”
“Upon arrival, Kim Junsu participated in a press conference followed by a program recording, pulling off his busy schedules before standing up on stage to put a powerful performance in his best condition, capturing the hearts of Australian fans,” said his agency.

XIA Incredible Concert in Australia was held at Big Top Sydney, located below the Harbour Bridge.
The 2,500 fans began chanting, “We Love XIA Junsu” even before the singer rose to the stage, cheering him on.
During the concert, Kim Junsu delivered performances from his first and second album, including Tarantallegra, Incredible, Fever and more, rocking power songs as well as soft ballds. He also spoke with the audience, bringing enjoyment to the fans.
“This is my first concert in Australia. It’s my second time in Sydney, but my first performing, so I’m very happy. I’m so glad to be in this beautiful city for a concert and spend my last night with all of you. This is a very heartfelt moment, smiling and interacting with you. The concert atmosphere is making me energetic. I will definitely return as a soloist or JYJ,” said Kim Junsu.
Prepared for the Saturday Night Fever, the fans were dressed up and ready to party in the standing section with Kim Junsu on the stage. With tears and smiles, the fans enjoyed the entire concert to the fullest.

“Seeing foreign fans cry to a Korean ballad, I realized that even though the language might be different, I was touched that we were still connected through music,” said Kim Junsu.

Kim Junsu released his second album and started off his solo tour in Bangkok, Shanghai, Seoul, and Busan. After Sydney, he will be performing in Nagoya for October 8-10, and Yokohama for October 14-16.

Junsu successfully finished his first ever Australian solo concert!
C-JeS Entertainment said, “On the 28th, Junsu had his first solo concert in Australia’s Sydney, and met his Australian fans. Junsu had a press conference and broadcast recording when he arrived in Australia, and then went over to the concert. He took over his Australian fans with his explosive live performance stages.“
He was at Sydney’s Big Top Sydney and performed to 3,000 fans, who all chorused “Junsu we love you” from even before the concert started. He performed various hits such as “Tarantallegra“, “Incredible“, “Fever“, “11 O’ Clock“, “Rainy Eyes“, and “Uncommitted“.
During the concert, he said, “This is my first time having a concert in Sydney. It’s my second time visiting, but my first time performing, so I feel good. I’m happy to have come to such a beautiful city again, and I’m happy to spend my last night in Sydney with you. I’m happy about breathing and smiling with you. I feel strong because the mood is so great. I’ll come back, either as myself or as JYJ.“He’ll be in Japan soon, Nagoya and Yokohama, for the next leg of his solo concert.

[REVIEW] XIA Redefines the Word ‘INCREDIBLE’ During Sydney Concert!

It’s September 28th, the date K-Pop fans all around Australia having been waiting for!
Like any other concert, the fans came rushing in to be the closest they can to their beloved idols. However, tonight’s concert is Australia’s first ever taste of JYJ, with Junsu, also known as Xia, taking to the stage to give Aussie fans a night they’ll never forget!
After the curtains dropped to the floor, nothing could calm down the fans as Xia made his incredible stage entrance! The entrance video beforehand gave the fans an idea of what to come, and the crowd’s first glimpse of Xia was him in his eminent presence on his ‘throne’.

The first song performed was the intense ‘Tarantallegra’ which proved Xia’s incredible and precise dance skills, and that of his talented back-up dancers. Needless to say, the fans were going crazy and the concert barely even started! The next song was ‘No Gain’ from the same album, Tarantallegra. A small intermission on screen of a cute message session between Xia and his ‘girlfriend’, paved the way for the next song ‘I’m Confessing Now’ from his latest album, which was followed by ‘Chocolate Girl’ and another amazing response from fans.
The atmosphere doubled with energy when Xia came to the stage to personally address the fans, especially with his “G’day Mate!” The crowd’s response to Xia’s Korean led him to ask “Do you speak Korean?” which drove the fans into a frenzy of laughter; even Xia giggled.



‘Rainy Eyes’ and another ballad from his latest album were performed next. An intermission of Xia and a female’s near kissing scene paved the way for ‘No Reason’. For this performance, Xia is first seen sitting on a couch with the dancers around him. As the song progresses, he begins to dance on the couch giving off a very sexual vibe.
The vibe changed with the English song ‘Uncommitted’ releasing more of the crowd’s energy before the sexy vibe returned for the song ‘Turn It Up’. Xia in a black singlet and the dancers in cool black and white outfits, they all held green towels that they used during the sensual stage performance, before releasing them to the excited audience.
The next intermission was composed of Xia’s back-up dancers and their solo or paired dance routines. They all came together for a last show of formations as they each held 2 glowing light sticks, that they also threw to the crowd. Not only did Xia’s performance gain a lot of cheers but so did that of the back-up dancers who amazed their audience with their excitement and interactiveness during the performances! Xia appears next in song ‘Fantasy’ which also received heavy cheer from fans, especially when one of the male back-up dancers hugs Xia and they both laugh!

Another talk session with Xia and the crowd, where Xia expresses the great atmosphere he is sensing and the great time he is having thus far. A special for the concert was the ’3 Wishes’ section where Xia chooses 3 fans, and each is allowed one wish, and that is for Xia to do something on stage for the fans. The first was aegyo and then the ”Gwiyomi player’ in which Xia playfully asks the male fans in the crowd to ‘turn away’. He said that he wasn’t as embarrassed to do something like this 3-4 years ago! Another popular choice that the audience cheered for was a sexy dance, which Xia also managed to go embarrassed at and giggle before dancing a bit to one of the previous songs he performed.
The next performance was ’11am’ where Xia, as in the music video, sings the first verses without music. The most extraordinary point in the performance was that every single member of the audience was dead silent through out the entire song. It was incredible to see the fans to engaged in the song that you can imagine tears in their eyes, especially with Xia’s amazing vocal ability and feelings in the song. The same was also true for the remaining ballads he performed off his ‘Incredible’ album.



The next video intermission was one with Xia facts and baby photos receiving a lot of ohs and ahs from fans! They included two very interesting points; he has performed in every continent except for Africa as of September 28th, and his weight which is currently 60kg! The next song was ‘Kajima’ which was followed by the stage everyone was waiting for, ‘Incredible’ -and with no puns intended, it was a truly incredible stage and performance!
Xia comes back to the stage for the last time to speak to the audience, telling them that he can never forget Australia and that whether as Xia or JYJ, we will always be on their minds for future concerts. He also said that his next stage will be in Japan very soon, where he will tell the fans about how successful and interactive the concert in Australia has been.
Saying his goodbyes, and with the fans screaming for more, Xia showed us his humorous side, saying that the parents of the fans in the audience must now be worried. The entire crowd reacted by screaming in sync with ‘gwenchana’ or ‘it’s okay’ in Korean. Making the near end of the show a very funny and intimate experience with Xia indeed.



The encore performance was the fantastic and lively stage of ‘Fever’, before Xia and his crew had to say their goodbyes, leaving many fans in true tears.

[NEWS] JYJ plans to resume group activity next year

The group JYJ is expected to continue current individual activities for the rest of this year and resume its activities as the whole group from the next year.
JYJ planned to release the new album in this summer or autumn in 2 years since ‘In Heaven’ in 2012, but decided to continue the current movement – as the all three members’ individual activities have made brilliant figures.
Jaejoong Kim is working for his first full-track album at the end of October and expected to boost the album industry which is having a good mood currently. He sold about 200,000 copies in total with his first mini-album and repackage album.
Junsu Kim will end his journey for Asia Tour in October and return to musical stage in December. The unequalled musical star will be singing the song of Gwang Seok Kim (1964~1996) on his fourth musical – ‘December: Song Without Ends’.

The musical is staged on the Grand Theartre of Sejong Centre for Performing Arts in Seoul and the film director Jin Jang is working as musical director this time. What record he will achieve is also one of interesting factor of his appearance. The industry is already expecting his ticket-selling power as his ‘Mozart!’, ‘Tears of Heaven’ and ‘Elisabeth’ were all sold out on the day of sale.
The last will be decorated by Yuchun Park. He is having debut on screen for the first time with the film ‘Haemu’.
