South Korean sales agent Finecut has announced a raft of deals led by thriller Haemoo (a.k.a. Sea Fog) [pictured], executive produced by Bong Joon Ho, which has pre-sold to Wild Side Films for French-speaking Europe and Twin for Japan.
Bong’s Memories Of Murder co-writer Shim Sung-bo is making a feature directorial debut with Haemoo, starring K-pop boy group JYJ member Park Yu-chun and top actor Kim Yoon-seok from The Chaser. Currently in production, the film is scheduled for a late summer release in Korea.
The sales agent will also be screening promos for Haemoo.

JYJ’s Park Yoo Chun is all suited up to act as the president’s security guard in his upcoming drama, Three Days.
SBS’s Three Days is a mystery suspense melodrama broadcasting after You Who Came From the Stars.
About the drama, Park Yoo Chun said, “I chose this drama because of the powerful script and to challenge myself to act in a new genre.
Taking the role of Han Tae Kyung, Park Yoo Chun will be acting as the president’s top security guard. In order to prepare himself, the JYJ member received full training at the security guard’s training center before he started filming.
“I chose the drama after reading through the scripts,” said Park Yoo Chun. “I thought, ‘Writer Kim Eun Hee doesn’t let anyone down,’ and I had my trust in the drama’s production team, including director Shin Kyung Soo. I’ve been working hard to do my best in acting as well”
He also expressed his respect for senior actor Son Hyeon Ju, commenting, “When I first met him for drama script reading, he said, ‘Let’s make a good drama together since we’re partners now.’ I was deeply inspired by his charisma as well as his kindness towards others at the filming site. I think I’ll have much to learn from him through this drama.”

The release of domestic drama ‘Missing You’ and ‘Dr. Jin’ –which group JYJ member Park Yuchun and Kim Jaejoong had acted respectively in– on the same day and time locally in Japan; ranked 3rd, 5th, and 6th on Oricon’s DVD Overall chart.
According to Japan’s biggest album and DVD monitoring site Oricon Chart, on February 5th ‘Missing You DVD Set 1(会いたい DVD SET1)’ first entered as 3rd onto the Daily DVD Overall chart; its date of release on February 4th.
Also hitting the shelves the same day, ‘Dr. Jin the complete series, Making 1(Dr.JIN 完全版 メイキング1)’ and ‘Dr. Jin the complete series DVD Box 1(Dr.JIN 完全版 DVD BOX1)’ each were ranked 5th and 6th on the same chart.
‘Missing You’ was very well-received –for a drama which had aired on MBC from November 2012 to January 2013 and actors Park Yuchun, Yoon Eun Hye, Yoo Seung Ho had acted in–, having landed 1st on the Japanese DVD pre-order sales ranking.

[TRANS] 140126 Gong Daeyu Blog Update: Park Yuchun ~2014~ 1st Fanmeeting

I was the MC for PARK YUCHUN ~2014~ 1st FANMEETING today.
Yuchun-san is so good-looking/attractive even to a guy (like me).
To tell us that he is so “into” pickled plums these days……
That was an unusual information right.
The 1st part was a talk corner and 2nd part a game corner this time, and there were loads of new discoveries during each corner.
And what can I say about the Yunnori Game!
In Korea, Yunnori is a common game played during New Year’s time. To explain this simply, you hold 4 sticks (each has 2 sides) called Yuutt and throw them on the ground. Then you sum up the numbers that appear on top of the sticks (T/N: only 1 side of the stick has a number so not necessary you get to see a number on all the sticks when you throw them on the ground) and progress/move on a board with the same number of steps (T/N: each step you stop on the board after moving has a “things-go-do” request hidden and you need to PERFORM that) like our Sugoroku (in Japan).
This time we had special rules and it was an original Yunnori game.
And how can we forget that shocking ○○ (one of the “things-to-do” request that Yuchun stumbled upon during the game) with his manager-san right.
(T/N: that “things-to-do” on the Yunnori game board was for Yuchun to give his manager-san a peck on the cheeks!! Fans chanted unanimously “popohey popohey” to an extremely embarrassed and unwilling Yuchun)
That’s right.
His manager-san’s facial expression and the way he appeared on stage was so cute haha. (T/N: Yuchun’s manager-san was so shy and kept shooting “longing” looks at Yuchun before Yuchun kissed him on the cheeks! Hilarious!)
Their friendliness was apparent even to us then right.
And that DANCE after this was……
Amazing, as expected.
(T/N: Yuchun again unwillingly danced to a “sexy” song, one of the hidden “things-to-do” during Yunnori game)
Right, it was so cool……
This time there were various trouble and I panicked but I thank all the fans showing so much warmth and patience for me.
I was able to enjoy together with everyone of you and this was the first best memory for me in 2014.
I hope all of you had a wonderful day too.
