[NEWS] 131004 JYJ’s Kim Junsu arrives in Japan to prepare for his concert tour

JYJ’s Kim Junsu has officially begun preparation work for his upcoming ‘XIA 2nd Asia Tour Concert’ in Japan.
C-JES Entertainment expressed, “Kim Junsu arrived in Japan via Haneda Airport yesterday, and began live band rehearsals on his first day. He will be in Japan for two weeks, and will meet with over 60,000 fans through his concerts at Nagoya and Yokohama. Junsu’s arrival in Japan wasn’t released publicly, but there was still over 200 fans at the airport to welcome him, and is testament to his popularity in the country. Kim Junsu’s exceptional vocals and dancing ability, and his ability to perform a variety of genres like Hip-hop, R&B, and others, have left Japanese fans really looking forward to seeing his content-filled concert. Junsu will also be performing Japanese songs, and he is really giving his best effort for his concert tour, as it’s been a while since he met them.”
Kim Junsu will be holding 6 legs of his ‘XIA 2nd Asia Tour Concert’ at Nagoya and Yokohama. He will meet with 24,000 fans from October 8th – 10th at Nagoya’s Nippon Gaishi Hall, before heading to Yokohama Arena to meet the other 33,000 fans from October 14th – 16th.
It was reported that over 150,000 fans had balloted for the tickets when pre-orders were opened, and was further proof of Kim Junsu’s high popularity in Japan.

Jang Geun Suk talked about Jaejoong in his ZEPP’s Concert in Fukuoka

[TRANS 1] JGS said he doesn’t have many friends in the entertainment world but his friendship with Jae is great.
Prior to going to the airport, JGS mentioned he spoke to Jae on the phone and Jae said he also wants to go to ZEPP and that he enjoys rock. Jae wish he can perform a concert in a smaller venue too.

[OTHER TRANS 2] “I really don’t have many friends in entertainment industry. Before going to the airport, I talked with Jaejoong via the phone. When we talked about my Zepp tour, he said he envied me very much. Jaejoong said although he had held concerts in big venues, since he likes rock, he also wants to hold concert in small venue like Zepp.”

Note: Jang Geun Suk will kick off his ‘ZIKZIN LIVE TOUR in ZEPP‘ in Fukuoka from October 2-4 and move on to Sapporo on October 18-19, Tokyo on December 10-12, Osaka on January 8-10, and Nagoya on January 28-30. Each concert will be held at a small-scale venue to make it as intimate as possible, so that fans can get closer to him. (Via Allkpop)

Kim Jaejoong’s Interview on May 2011:
“This is something that I really want to do one day. In a mid-sized theater of about 2,000 seats, on a set that has its entire stage made of LED, do a concert which shows the entirety of 30 songs utilizing the lights. In a stage that stands out to the audience in its sense of 3-D and has a color scheme that is splendid, we’d make a space of fantasy as if hypnotizing the audience. Once we get a bit older, I want to also try doing an acoustic performance on a small stage.” (Read More Here)
