بازیگر نقش مقابل یوچون تغییر کرد هان یری جایگزین اون دختر قبلیه شد ظاهرا دختره نقشو قبول نکرده چون این فیلم صحنه های 18+ زیاد داره هر زنی حاضر نیس توش بازی کنه به خیلیا پیشنهاد داده بودن ولی قبول نکره بودن معلوم نیس تو فیلم نامه چه خبر هست
در 25 سپتامبر 2013 ، عوامل سریال دریای مه گفتند هان یری بعنوان نقش زن اصلی دریای مه که توسط بونگ جون هو کارگردانی می شود ، انتخاب شده. برطبق گفته های او ، هماهنگی های نهایی در وسط کار انجام شده و به زودی قرارداد رو امضا خواهد کرد. هان یری نقش Hongmae (هونگ مایی) ، کسی که عاشق پارک یوچان می شود رو بازی می کند.
