This duration allows Park Yoochun to change from an idol singer to one whom Korean directors and screenwriters recognised as male lead selection, allowing Micky Yoochun to become actor Park Yoochun. The duration for the 4 dramas makes the fans feel honour, proud, strong, love, all these to the fans are great impacts, subsequently behind all these…jealousy, misunderstanding and even abuse also come thick & fast.

If you have not yet been a fan since the times of Micky Yoochun, indeed you may not know many things, you can use Baidu and review through the various videos, you can search the different silhouette of that melancholy and moody youngster whom loves to cry and loves to smile, you can be pleasantly surprised by his gentle magnetic voice, marvel at his creative talent, gasp in admiration that he was once standing at the pinnacle of glory in his musical career in an idol group, you can see him being dote upon by millions during the many different variety shows he was on, you can also see him during the many award presentation where his tears sustained that shared glory…you can search and find many things, but there is a feeling experienced that you can never find, this may be what the previous group fan’s common talk that drama fan only knowing who is Garang, Yoo-Hyun, Crown Prince and JungWoo, but does not understand singer Micky. In fact, drama fan definitely will not agree, new Micky’s fan will make use of Baidu themselves, passionate Micky’s fan whom visit the Baidu Bar will automatically want to know more about Yoochun’s past, how could anyone whom like Yoochun could have missed the brilliant singer Micky, so most people will have a common sentence and that is” you only know….but you do not know blabla….”. Every time I see these, I wanted to tell that person “actually everyone already knows”. But one impartial area is the past years of brotherhood. In fact as a sole fan, really gets annoying when the word brotherhood is mentioned, letting people misunderstood that sole fan are really evil as we couldn’t stand to see or talk about the bonds of brotherhood…

Prior to the currently 3 members, the earlier group was a group of 5 members, including the much debated “Red sea” which was originated during the times when they were 5 members, because of having been through the glorious times as a group, from the highest podium presentation stages in Korea to having to struggle through the hardship of starting to sing along the stairs of Japan Shopping complexes, allows the belief of the “Red sea” that spreads from Korea to Asia and even to other parts of the world, the ‘Red sea” currently marvel in Japan for Micky’s fan originated from the earlier group of 5 members where they struggled through all the hardship and attained great honours, the love from the Japan fans built the foundation of the “Red sea”….based on the belief of the bonds of brotherhood more than that for an individual.
That is why they are able to maintain this belief even through all those up and downs, the scenes from the past can be re-viewed but feelings and belief cannot be adopted, just like the passion during the revolutionary era cannot be passed down to the next generation, the people who comes after will not be able to understand that kind of feeling, but it is still beautiful and emotionally moving, some will even ignorantly follows these feelings and moves along into a brand new belief by himself.
Even as I share these words, I myself is surged with the past emotions, the past flashes through my eyes, having to start from the beginning, leaving behind these glorious past needs how much of courage, saying goodbye to that feeling of passion and the suffering that comes after will than be how much more tremendous, these feelings simply could not be expressed.
If today, someone were to tell me about the strong feeling of the bonds of brotherhood, I would not get mad and scream, there is a strong bond of brotherhood, but I still only love Park Yoochun, a fact that remain after all these years and history and even the erosion of that old belief, not because of ignorance as said by many people, but because of that deep understanding that made me select Park Yoochun.
The “Red” colour belief, the beautiful memories of red is also very memorable, memorable not just because it is beautiful, the pain that comes with it even causes audience to reject that remembrance, the main lead Park Yoochun matured through the period from 5 members reduced to 3 members, the price of maturity is a pain unknown to any of us.

But even for someone who enjoyed the most fans support since his debut and also being dote upon by the millions, he suffered an unbelievable amount of malicious attack and verbal abuse when the court case started, when he closed his twitter account, isn’t he also closing a door to his heart, he did not mistaken the fans’ love and his popularity, but the hurt he gone through is even more of a stark reality after all this.
You have people who commented about how heartless the sole fans are because in order for us to cast our eyes solely on Park Yoochun, we will even remove the pictures of the other members, but are you aware that this just and honourable liking of the sole fan will not intentionally visit his other member’s twitter to give verbal abuse, but these fans whom had promised to loved the 5 members, to love the bonds of brotherhood could without the slightest hesitation verbally abuse Park Yoochun until he closed his twitter account.
Sole fan will not glaze upon others, will not even have the time to poison others, only those who is infatuated with the bonds of brotherhood more than Park Yoochun’s individual talent will then turn around to attack him when they realise their dreams is fruitless.
After the 3 members left and the court case started, everyone started their own individual activities, started planning for their own future, only one stayed home and walks the dogs until 2010 then started filming “Sungkyunkwan Scandal”, that person is Park Yoochun. Some predicted that if the 5 members ever split, the one with the most unfavourable prospect is Park Yoochun, from all aspects of his emotional quotient and many areas demonstrated this prophecy, now it seems like a joke, but this is based on the brotherhood’s fan understanding and assessment on Park Yoochun, he is often made fun of as the comical one in these assessments, to the thinking of the benevolent fans, he is the outsider of this big family that consist of father, mother, son and daughter—he is an in-law, this is the reality, in China long-termed group fan’s culture, Park Yoochun is a genuine supporting role, even till today.
Even if he is already the main lead in the 4 dramas, but in the hearts of some so-called “Red Family” members, he is the biggest supporting role out of the 5 members, this strange atmosphere is if Park Yoochun received the top prize, they will be proud to say he is indeed one of the “Red Family” members, if he is superior than the other 4 members, then it does not matter if another were to take over this excellence. So can you expect if during award voting and needs fans to cast votes and Park Yoochun is also competing with other members, do you think other friendship fans will vote for Park Yoochun?
This is the fact, Park Yoochun, even if he is the culmination of glory and splendour, he cannot be better than the other members, this is the group’s logic. This is an affectionate group, except that it is only unfair to Park Yoochun. They will never accord the group support based on hard work but instead based on their own deep emotions, Park Yoochun is very happy to see this kind of situation, he so loves his brothers, no matter who win the award is basically the same to him. The so-called “Red Family” fans totally ignored Park Yoochun’s acting abilities and the extra effort he puts in more than the others.
From 5 members to 3 members, there are essential no changes, they are all brothers, are all affectionate, all having had experienced the past hardship. In the past, they are shrouded by a strong company, now an even more powerful company have enveloped them into a long tunnel. People have commented that because of all these, the bonds of brotherhood should be stronger, if not, how are they to walk through all these obstacles?
I fully agree, many sole fan also agree, the benefits of the bonds of brotherhood, Park Yoochun first drama “Sungkyunkwan Scandal” obtained big success, the last to start his personal activities but the one whom obtained the best result, obtaining various recognition with his first drama, Korean website wrote hundreds of pages on this legend, triple and quadruple award crowns received…winning all the various awards, for a time because of Park Yoochun, various television temporary thaw and begin having reports on the 3 members group, the most exciting and the only time the three were invited to an interview program is after Park Yoochun received the Rookie Award during KBS Award ceremony, like a new spring beginning, like a light that can be seen in the long dark tunnel,at that time, Micky’s fans were especially warm, seemingly oblivious to the past history of the 5 members group, seemingly already forgotten the power of this double-edged sword called the bonds of Brotherhood.
In Korea, those new fans that gotten to know Park Yoochun due to “Sungkyunkwan” started to aid the promotion of their group activities. Park Yoochun gained a lot of ahjumma fans and a ahjumma station. The organisation started to aid in various places by posting banners, helping the boys through the tunnel, a time where Micky’s fan forgot about the responsibility Park Yoochun have as a member of a 3 member group. The first cut is during the Natural Republic billboard event, the advertiser coordinate with the intentioned propaganda of Yoochun’s new drama “Miss Ripley” and made him a special billboard of him alone, devoted fans of the brotherhood made telephone complaints and threaten to boycott the product to forced the advertisers to remove Yoochun’s billboard, later the 3 boys did not receive further renewal once their contract expires, this cut harms others without benefiting oneself.
The second cut, the ahjumma fans’s sudden burst of responsibility that they donated money to organize a radio station for the group, a well-intentioned gesture to do programs where the contents are prepared by the individual member’s fans. As a result, the devoted fans of the other members was strongly dissatisfied after just finishing a week of programs, exploiting the ahjumma fans and forcing them to close down the radio station. At that time, Park Yoochun’s program did not even have a chance for a run at all. The bonds of brotherhood gave him a cut each.
Coupled with that period of aids from Micky’s fans, is also when “Sungkyunkwan” just ended so Micky’s fans was still indulging in the bonds of the brotherhood, adhering to a loyalty of supporting the boys through the tunnel. When other members’ fans was discussing about rendering aids, Micky’s fan stick without hesitation upon the “Red sea”, if you love him, you love his brothers. Park Yoochun will surely want to see the “Red sea without any controversy as believed by his fans. During the Shanghai East Asia Flying Up Concert, an unforgettable concert to all Micky’s fan, running a high fever and in the pouring rain, Park Yoochun performed with a tired body after wrapping up filming and a high fever, it was a long time before we knew that he fainted several time when he was very tired while filming. It is in such a state that he came to China to perform with his brothers in the pouring rain, in the night, the stage below shines brightly with “Xiah sea”(Junsu’s fan colour), there are also “Lush Green sea”(JaeJoong’s fan colour), Micky’s fan bought him “Red sea” thinking that to love him means loving his brothers too…singing in the rain with his background flashing with “Lush Green sea” and “Xiah sea” and sporadic flashes of Micky neon lightstick, his eyes search around but got nowhere to lay his eye. During the return to the airport, Park Yoochun kept his head down all the way.
That night, many of Micky’s fan came back and cried…later, many of the other member’s fan commented that Park Yoochun’s popularity in China is at rock bottom, many Micky’s fans were speechless but was determined to also give him a piece of “sea”. Later after contacting Yoochun’s mother and gaining her advice decided that Yoochun’s colour will be blue, Micky’s fans keep hoping to know when he will be coming back to China cause they want to gift him with a “Blue sea”.
All these things mentioned above, Micky’s fan will never forget, although fans cannot equal to brothers, but it also opened the eyes of Micky’s fans, the bond of brotherhood is not true equally for all, only Micky’s fans are the ones that thinks love him means loving his brothers. As the old saying: ” If you are poor, first try to make yourself rich. If you become rich, then try to help the others out”. Micky’s fan are also following Park Yoochun’s arduous journey as an actor and singer through the tunnel to conquer the world stage, we are not at the stage to “help the others out” yet, we cannot do it nor can we do it well, rather than let Park Yoochun suffer harm, better for us Micky’s fan to learn to care for our Micky first. This is the understanding Micky’s fan have gain in exchange after experiencing so much pain. Only by loving him alone will we have a clear understanding, that the one we like is Park Yoochun, only by staying true to this feeling of spending your affection on him alone will we stay true to our original intention.
“Red sea” can be lighted from 5 members to 3 members but “Blue sea” will only be for Park Yoochun personally. Japanese fans have their history, China fans have our own conditions, as long as you know as a fan the message you want to convey to Park Yoochun regarding your presence is in support of whom, you will never be confused about what colours you cite.
If you came in support of the bonds of brotherhood, convinced of a reunion, regardless that currently is from 5 members reduced to 3 members and not sure how many in the future, you can proudly hold up your “Red” light, if you came for Park Yoochun and you want to let him know you love him more, hoping that he is aware you exist below the stage just for him, then proudly life your ” Blue” light.
Thinking back, colours are really nothing to be confused about, probably many times Micky’s fans are confused about the situation, if you are very confident that you value Yoochun more but hesitate whether to lift a “Red” stick then better to follow the Japanese fan, I am sorry but I can tell you with confident that China will never have a “Red sea” scene, if you do not understand the meaning of red, then please do not express your feeling wrongly, think of how many times Yoochun can come to China before his military duties, if you misrepresent your feeling again, it will be one time less chance he will be coming, it is just a lifting of a neon stick, he will not understand the curved nature behind your great love, he will only visually see…”Red” is here due to the bonds of brotherhood, “Blue” is my people, it is just so simple.
If you believe that because you love Park Yoochun and not the others is a shameful thing for Micky’s fan, then I feel that you are not a Micky’s fan, Micky ‘s fan will always be his people, if you love more than him, then you are a group fan. The more members you love does not mean you have a higher moral standard, compared to your stinginess in defending Yoochun, your generosity towards others does not necessarily mean that you are more noble. Please do not provide yourself with such a noble excuse: Park Yoochun will surely like to see his fans loving his brothers.
Think about the Shanghai East Asia Flying Up Concert, think about your own self, even in a harmonious family, you will still wish that you are the most capable one, the one that contributed the most, if you truly love him, you should encourage him, tell him, he is the most capable one in his band of brothers, when they are having concert….his people showed the most support, the products they endorsed…we fully support those by him, this is than the true meaning of “love me, then love what I love” because you need to let him know you did all this because of him.
